前十名中还包括大众ID.3(配置|询价)(573辆)、斯柯达Enyaq(461辆)、沃尔沃EX30(433辆)、大众ID.7(428辆)和沃尔沃EX40(384辆)。

In June, the total number of new car registrations in Norway was 18376, an increase of 5% from 17512 in the same period last year, of which 17799 were electric vehicles, accounting for a staggering 96.9%. The growth in electric vehicle sales is mainly driven by one model: the new Tesla Model Y ranks first with 5004 new registrations, accounting for 27.2% of the total new car registrations in Norway for the month.

Last June, electric vehicles accounted for 80% of new car registrations in Norway. Compared with the same period last year, the registration of electric vehicles in Norway increased by 3790 in June this year; Compared to May 2025, the registered number of electric vehicles increased by 4415 in June.

According to the Norwegian Roads Authority (OFV), the average carbon dioxide emissions of newly registered vehicles in June were 3.5 grams per kilometer. Since the beginning of this year, electric vehicle sales in Norway have accounted for 93.7%, with an average carbon dioxide emissions of 6.1 grams per kilometer.

The background of this result is that pure fuel vehicles and hybrid vehicles have almost no place in Norway. In June, the new registration of non pure electric vehicle models in Norway was only 577, including 152 plug-in hybrid vehicles (down 83.7% from June 2024) and 223 other hybrid vehicles (down 89.1% year-on-year). The market share of pure fuel vehicles has further shrunk: 142 new diesel vehicles were registered, accounting for 0.8% (compared to 2.0% in the same period last year); 57 new gasoline vehicles were registered, accounting for 0.3% (1.0% in June 2024). From the data of the past year, the market share of hybrid vehicles has declined significantly, from 17.0% to 2.0%.

In terms of vehicle models, Tesla Model Y firmly topped the sales chart in June, while Toyota bZ4X (configuration | inquiry) (825 units) and Volkswagen ID.4 (714 units) ranked second and third respectively. Tesla Model 3 ranks fourth with 639 registrations, closely followed by BYD Sea Lion 7 with 604 registrations. The top ten also include Volkswagen ID.3 (configuration | inquiry) (573 units), Skoda Enyaq (461 units), Volvo EX30 (433 units), Volkswagen ID.7 (428 units), and Volvo EX40 (384 units).

From the overall data of the first half of the year, Tesla Model Y is still far ahead - the cumulative number of new car registrations from January to June reached 11006, far exceeding Toyota bZ4X (4801) and Volkswagen ID.4 (3923), and the ranking of the top three has not changed. Volkswagen has two other models following closely behind: ID.7 (3075 units) and ID.3 (2953 units), followed by Nissan Ariya (2808 units), ranking sixth. However, this Japanese electric SUV performed averagely in June, ranking only 11th.

In the first half of this year, the total sales of new cars in Norway reached 75515, an increase of 23% compared to the same period last year. The data for the first half of the year clearly shows that the Norwegian automotive market as a whole has rebounded again, and this recovery trend is particularly prominent in the field of electric vehicles.

? yvind Solberg Thorsen, Director of the Norwegian Roads Authority, said, "Multiple zero or very low interest rate new car purchase promotions have significantly boosted sales. The first interest rate cut by the Norwegian central bank has also allowed many people to buy their dream cars. However, it remains to be seen whether Tesla can maintain its strong position in Norway and how long it can last

He also pointed out that it is worth noting that new models and brands are constantly entering the Norwegian automotive market and quickly gaining recognition. The comprehensive advantages of many of these models in terms of price, configuration, space, and range will make it increasingly difficult for dealers and importers to compete for new car buyers in the future.
