韩国要求电动汽车制造商在火灾后披露电池品牌

          据报道,8月8日,韩国环境部表示,计划下周召开紧急会议,讨论涉及电动汽车的火灾问题,包括造成大面积破坏的大火,并制定防止此类事故的预防措施。  

    韩国环境部表示,韩国国土交通部和产业通商资源部以及国家消防局等其他国家机构也将参加下周一(8月12日)的会议。

      该部门补充称,韩国政府计划很快宣布关于预防电动汽车火灾的综合措施。  

      韩联社表示,韩国政府将在下个月初发布新措施。另外,《朝鲜日报》(Chosun Ilbo)援引一位韩国交通部官员的话称,韩国计划要求电动汽车制造商公布汽车电池的品牌。该报称,韩国汽车制造商目前需要提供如燃油效率等汽车相关信息,电池方面也需要提供有限的细节,但无需披露具体的电池供应商。

  针对上述报道,韩国交通部拒绝立即置评。 

    据悉,上周,一辆梅赛德斯-奔驰电动轿车在韩国仁川市(Incheon)一栋公寓的地下车库里起火。

    据韩联社报道,这场大火持续了八个多小时才被扑灭,造成约140辆车受损,23人因吸入烟雾而住院。梅赛德斯-奔驰韩国公司在一份声明中表示,他们非常重视这一事件,并计划配合相关当局查明原因。   

     首尔市消防灾害指挥部(The Seoul Metropolitan Fire & Disaster Headquarters)在今年2月份发布的一份报告中称,2013年至2022年间,韩国地下停车场共发生1,399起火灾,其中43.7%是由车辆引起的,而地下车库发生的汽车火灾中,有53%是由电源引起的。  

  分析人士提醒,政府当局和电动汽车行业需要尽快找到方法来缓解公众对电动汽车行业安全问题的担忧。


South Korea demands electric vehicle manufacturers to disclose battery brands after fires


According to reports, on August 8th, the South Korean Ministry of Environment announced plans to hold an emergency meeting next week to discuss the issue of fires involving electric vehicles, including those causing widespread damage, and to develop preventive measures to prevent such accidents.

The South Korean Ministry of Environment stated that the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, Industry, Trade and Resources, as well as other national agencies such as the National Fire Service, will also attend the meeting next Monday (August 12th). The department added that the South Korean government plans to soon announce comprehensive measures to prevent electric vehicle fires.
Yonhap News Agency stated that the South Korean government will release new measures early next month. In addition, Chosun Ilbo quoted a South Korean transportation official as saying that South Korea plans to require electric vehicle manufacturers to disclose the brand of their car batteries. The newspaper stated that South Korean car manufacturers currently need to provide automotive related information such as fuel efficiency, and limited details on batteries, but do not need to disclose specific battery suppliers.
The South Korean Ministry of Transport declined to immediately comment on the above report.



It is reported that last week, a Mercedes Benz electric sedan caught fire in the underground garage of an apartment building in Incheon, South Korea.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the fire lasted for over eight hours before being extinguished, causing damage to about 140 vehicles and 23 people hospitalized due to inhaling smoke. Mercedes Benz Korea stated in a statement that they attach great importance to this incident and plan to cooperate with relevant authorities to investigate the cause.
